Avast

Files created with bat2exe http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000435.htm are considered, by Avast, to be virii.

"No hassles", I thought, "I'll add it to the exclusions".

I've added it to all of the damned exclusions that I can find and still the bugger flags it up!

Irritatingly, when it flags it, I'm not given the option to ignore it. Just the usual "Delete/chest/block" cr@p.

Useful looking little tool. I can understand why any antiviral would consider it to be a problem, but why it removes your ability to accept or reject it is beyond me? Are you using a free, or paid version of Avast? There may be a difference.
