Take good care of your pet in hot weather.

In my area, we've had a heat index of over 100 degrees F lately.

I saw a lovely little dog whose owner had left him in the car while the owner went into a store for a few minutes. The windows were left wide open on both sides for good cross-ventilation. The little guy had found a way to balance himself on the door so that almost all of his body was outside the car, enjoying the breeze. He reminded me of an acrobat.

He was a little dog with long, well-groomed fur, which appeared to have three colors--a dark gray color that seemed almost blue, some light brown hair, and some off-white hair. I wondered if he'd had a dye job! If I had a picture phone, I would have posted him here.
