Crowdsourced Military vehicle

Here, using the opensource concept. The origins are from here. While I think the concept is brilliant, what does concern me is, if the vehicle is used for military purposes the strengths and weaknesses of such a vehicle would be well documented for any, and all, to see. This may become a liability in the theatre of war.

Perhaps this is just a cunning ploy used by the Americans to lull the enemy into a false sense of security ?

The foe believe this is the type of vehicle the Americans are using, but in reality they've got a superior vehicle which is top secret and when the enemy attack, the Americans beat the cr@p out of them !

I'm not always a big fan of American military tactics, but in this particular case I take my hat off to them.
