Outlook 2007 missing date

In Outlook 2007 when I put in a appointment in my calendar I used to get a reminder that appeared in the To Do Bar which is in the mail window set up on the right hand side, this gives a brief description of the coming appointment and time that it is set for, as I have had to reinstall Office 2007 recently I now do not have the date attached to the appointment, prior to the instal the appointment listed the date, time and a description. Obviously there is something that has not been set and I cannot find where, And help would be appreciated.

Regards Miket.

Possibly, <Tools><Options>[Preferences] is the "Default Reminder" checkbox ticked in the subsection {Customise the appearance of the Calendar}?

Also in the [Other] tab click on the [To-Do Bar] button in the subsection "Outlook Panes". Are the check boxes all ticked there?
