Drive-through restaurants banned

A town has passed an ordinance banning drive-through food service for the next nine months.

The thinking is this: a growing percentage of Americans have become obese in recent years, and inactivity contributes to this. It is little enough to require that a person walk into the restaurant from his car to get the food.

What do you think? Good idea, or bad idea, and why? Do you see any unintended consequences?:)

Obesity is to be avoided. My friend saw Robbie Coltraine with a walking stick today and he was one "fatman" who revelled in his eating and drinking. It catches up with people eventually.

The culture of eating out so frequently is something that America needs to tackle. There's a reason that "people of Walmart" are so large, by and large.

The problem seems to be that some Americans are too stupid to even realise that they are obese, let alone do something about it.
