Wild Tangent!!!!

I was just browsing through my installed programs list to remove a bot of software (modem driver) that I installed for testing and noticed Wild Tangent in my installed programs. I promptly uninstalled it, but, my question is... How the hell did it get there, I've not installed anything out of the ordinary on my lappy since I bought it. I do remember one of our past security experts being worried about it (IIRC spyware et al), should I be concerned? Nothing is misbehaving.

Toshi - bah Lappy running W7 home Avira and ZoneAlarm.

I just note: only new software is Winfast PVR for my TV tuner.
