NHS are brilliant
Bit of an incident this morning. Dealing with some new chicks and daughter (10) faints onto floor (tiles) and bangs head. Panic ensues as I get her
into recovery position, clear airway and see her fit and stop breathing for a sec. 999 call resulted in paramedic arriving in about 8 minutes
followed by an ambulance in about 18 (and we live in the middle of no-where).
She has come around at this point and is checked over and offered the choice of our GP (appointment confirmed for 40 minutes time) or the local
childrens' hospital.
Glad to say she looks fine now and is being monitored today - just a bad combination of fainting and banging ones head on the way down.
Certainly reconfirmed my confidence in the superb NHS around here.

Glad it all worked out for your daughter Theravad.
I went through a spell of fainting when I was just a bit older than that age which I outgrew if that's any consolation.

I'm glad you got such excellent service.
My own country's politicians have trouble setting up services for the public. In some cases, they have managed a good start and then tampered with
the results according to what is best for their own political careers.
Here's hoping that, with your lass having feinted once, she will be able to tell if it is about to happen again and can lie down. (I'm saying this
on the theory it is only a slight blood flow problem.)
