Spammer Blacklist

I've been plagued recently by a nasty Spammer. I asked him to stop many times and finally reported him. In his revenge he blacklisted my ip address to Spamhaus PBL and now I can't send any emails without having to switch on "Authentication" on all my mailer programs which is a pain. I am not a spammer. Anyone any experience of Spamhaus - if I switch off all my kit for a while and get a new ip address assigned will my stuff still work again? Thanks

I've not got an answer for you Kevin I'm afraid, but re getting a new ip assigned, if you've got a genuine case, you could call your ISP, (who are they BTW?) and explain the situation, they may be helpful, you never know...!

I'm with VM, (cable) and I got a new ip by pulling the modem cable feed, and powering off the router and modem for a day or so...
