Looks good SF. I don't think that you've missed too much. I hope that beginners aren't put off by the discussion of slipstreaming. I wonder if it may be pertinent to, perhaps, place instructions for a simple backup and reload first, then discuss ways of making the process easier with the slipstreaming process.

Whilst nLite is very good, for a beginner, until they understand what is going on, I would recommend they try the following slipstreaming app, it's much easier to cut your teeth on....

Windows Unattended CD Creator

Once they've got used to, and understood, then nLite prooves to be a great tool...

Good guide though...
