It appears time might be drawing in for Mum, she's not there yet, but it looks we might just be starting on the long road out.

MM and Janet (hope you see this Janet) I figured might know of links, or books that might help us get our little chap's head around losing someone...

I want to be as prepared as I can be, if possible...

Not being parent I don't have much advice to offer for your little guy but I found 'The Courage to Grieve' by Judy Tatelboum useful and it has a chapter concerned with bereavement of children.
I hope your Mum's passing, when it happens, is peaceful and dignified (((Daz)))
