Cat facts site

Did you know that a group of kittens is called a kindle, and a group of cats is called a clowder?

. . .Sir Isaac Newton invented the cat flap?

How fast a cat can go? (No, I'm not telling, you must visit the site. It is worth it, just for the picture of three cute white kittens.:D:D:D)

Quiz item for Kitten, DeWitch, Dreamweaver, and Janet, before you go to the site--how many toes does a standard cat have?

(Dreamweaver, do cats get their claws trimmed, as dogs get their nails clipped? Or do they only wear them down themselves? Does your work include claw grooming? If so, you have an advantage on the question.greengrin)

So that the first person to answer does not "give it away" for all, how about sending u2u your answers to me, and I'll print them all together?

Or, for people who love cats, is this a no-brainer?

Here it is.

I will only say ... cats get de-clawed in a world where owners don't like being caught out, or value items more.

Personally however, why own,or be owned by a pet if you don't know the outcome of such a marriage?

I see declawing cats in about the same way I saw clipping birds' wings. There may be reasons to do it for particular animals if it is for their benefit - but I suspect those cases are few and far between.

(I did know a cockatoo who never figured out that he had to stop before he got to the window... but his owners didn't stop him flying...).
