Duck Hero

Joel Armstrong saw Mama Duck's nest and ten eggs outside his second story window. After the eggs hatched, Mama Duck preceeded them to the concrete sidewalk, fifteen feet below.:oThen she urged them to jump off! shocked_yellow The first duckling survived, but would the others?scared_stiff Joel ran around under the awning and caught every one of the 9 remaining ducklings. Then he and others put them in a low office-paper box and carried them, in sight of Mama, to the river, where Mama led them into the water.

Here's a picture. They are happy, and calm as pie! ;)
