Lammas Night (Specially for Bear!)
As we are not that far from August 1st ... ... ...
So the feast is over, the circle empty,
the last of the guests gone home –
just thou and I remain, my Lord,
to tend the Lammas fire alone.
This mystic night has been full perfect,
and I am reluctant to see it go.
Bide with me still a while, my Lord,
dance with me in the fires soft glow.
Take my hand and thou takest my heart,
feel its rhythm - dance with me.
Feel the power of this sacred space
unite our spirits and fly them free.
The fire, the night, thy presence, my Lord,
enchant my senses – set them reeling
in their own wild exultant circle dance.
Canst thou not feel what I am feeling?
Dance with me, hold me, let thy body
move and sway in time with mine –
as we touch and part and touch again,
my soul in perfect tune with thine.
I look within thine eyes, My Lord,
and am excited by the loving fire
that glows there within their depths,
alive with passion and desire.
Hold me, dance with me, let me feel
the warmth of thee in my arms.
The Lammas fire burns brightly still
as we circle – palms touching palms.
The moon and stars watch in awe
as, at last, thy soft lips kiss my own
and linger there, tasting, touching,
enticing – the time for dance is done.
Hold me, lie with me, here beside the
fire, as we two explore with tenderness
the wonders of each other, let me feel
the silk of thy hair against my breast,
let me know thy joy as I know mine own.
In celebration of Lammas, my Lord,
come with me to the summit of ecstasy,
I am thy chalice – be thou my sword !

Very evocative. Pardon my ignorance, Lammas Night?
I know! Google is my friend, but I'm too busy playing catch up for now.
