Help with Defrag



I tried to defrag and received the following report. How can I correct this?

Total excess fragments = 1
Average fragments per file = 1.00

Pagefile fragmentation
Pagefile size = 2.00 GB
Total fragments = 1

Folder fragmentation
Total folders = 3,510
Fragmented folders = 1
Excess folder fragments = 108

Master File Table (MFT) fragmentation
Total MFT size = 59 MB
MFT record count = 53,591
Percent MFT in use = 89 %
Total MFT fragments = 3

Have you tried defragging in Safe mode?

hi,

what are you trying to do, there is only one file to defrag - this may be a file thats been written to at the time,
i have 3 that won't defrag - one is my firewalls log file,

there is nothing wrong with that report, as far as i can see

you have 49,988 files and only 1 is fragmented
