Updates for windows failing



I seem to have a few updates that refuse to install.
list is here...

Security Update for Windows XP (KB941644)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB943485)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB946026)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB943055)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB941693)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB945553)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB948590)
Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows XP (KB948881)

I have windows XP professional version 2002 SP2.

Any ideas how I rectify it?

From what you say it suggests you can download them but not install them, have you tried installing them in safe mode?

Yes I can d/load them, but TBH I have never used safe mode , Karl was the PC buff :)
