Mac help needed with a thumbdrive

We have a thumbdrive, jumpdrive, whatever you call those little devices used to move data from one machine to another that are reusable.

We are in a MAC environment at the paper and the one I use to move copy and photos from my computer to the paginator's for layout is suddenly not working right. No matter which direction we go, the files become "corrupted" and thus not usable.

Does anyone know how to reformat one of these in an OS9.2 environment?

I'd ask the resident MAC Wizard at the High School but they are on spring break this week.

Thanks.

What about formatting it as a DOS device, I hear most bits of fruit can read FAT32 anyway.
