Boot problem W2K



The laptop is a Dell Latitude C600 with Windows 2000 Pro.
It was working fine and now shows the following error when it is turned on:

The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant

Any suggestions on how to get this laptop back to working again like it previously did?

It looks like it is a common issue for pretty much any version of Windoze though.
