Transparent Zebrafish "Casper" developed by scientists

Eureka's article

The Times UK

You'll read in the article that the virtually transparent fish were developed for cancer research, so that scientists could see cancers grow in their living hosts.

May I draw your attention to this:

Zebrafish were chosen for their strong genetic similarities to human beings.
I have sometimes heard a casual argument for macro-evolution made on the basis of genetic similarities. Frankly, it is a stupid argument. As the article points out, Zebrafish and humans have genetic similarities. Does anyone seriously maintain that humans evolved from Zebrafish?roffle roffle roffle roffle

Have you noticed few people engage with you on these arguments anymore, scholar?

I can't be bothered, and I don't think many others can, either.

The lack of respect you show to anyone who disagrees with you makes the effort not worthwhile.

Despite janet's feelings, as a relative new boy here I'll give it a go.
Personally I find the idea of genetics and it's influence on cell structure and development a very simple concept, like most of the natural world, and I certainly find it easier to understand and accept than any of the alternatives.
