Hijack This Please

Hello...
I have this annoying adware that I know is on my computer. I have multiple applications running to figure out where it is but have been unable to find/fix it.

This is what I have running right now:

1) Webroot Spysweeper (v 5.5.7.124)
2) Lavasoft AD-Aware 2007
3) Windows Defender
4) AVG Anti-Virus (v 7.5.516)

These software keep finding somethign everytime I run it, but is not able to find the parent program that is invoking this garbage.

I think it all started with a 'compete' toolbar that got installed by a couple of kids visitng us. I've just not been able to completly get rid of it.

Symptoms:
Whenever I am using the internet, I can notice that things stop for a second especially when i am using the Google or a search engine, then a few popups open with exactly the same search string. A few of the sites it brings back are stopped right away by webroot but some of the cookies get through and spawn more. I have scheduled these scans to runs every couple hours so things don't get out of hand, but I am at a loss to figure out where there the root cause.

I have used CC cleaner to scour the registry to remove everything with 'Compete' in it, but that hasn't helped too much either.

I am attaching the hijack this log and am hoping that one of you experts can help me resovle this as I do use the computer for work and connect to vpn. I don't want to pass on anything unwanted when connected to the corporate networks...

Thanks in Advance...
Rip...

I am running a NOD 32 Free Download run as I noticed that this app was the most supported on the Forums.

I'll post my findings from that as well when done

Thanks,
Vivek
