Squeaky break pedal

My break pedal squeaks when pressed. Is it going to be expensive?:(
The car has 81,000 miles on the clock, 16 years old...

Maybe a dose of WD40 on the brake pedal hinge ?
If you can get to it...

Quaver, any aerosol penetrating oil should do the trick. They come with a very narrow tube that you can put on the spray hole so as to direct it to spray at a small spot from a distance. Liquid Wrench is one other brand I know.

Your car is older than mine, and has fewer miles on it. Congratulations!:D
