Storms hit Western US
flooding, danger of mudslides
"At least 5 feet of snow had fallen on ski areas in the rugged Sierra Nevada by early Sunday, with 9 feet possible at some higher elevations, the
National Weather Service said. As much as 3 feet more could hit the area by Tuesday evening, the weather service said.
The article also covers a town in the DESERT that was flooded with two feet of water when a levee broke.
Up to nine feet of snow may have fallen in some areas already, with another three feet possible by Tuesday. Think how bad it might be if not for
man-made global warming! [Sarcastic, of course. There is no such thing.]
