Repetetiveness of TV/Media

Every year it's the same ole same ole.
Boxing day- weightwatchers/slimmers world etc adverts.
New years day the holiday adverts.
"New" and (supposedly) exciting part works appear in Newsagents/adverts.
Cadbury creme appear yet again (but not for long).

I think they need a new, New Year resolution by now.

Television seemed to be remarkably rubbish this year with little new to tempt us to watch it.

Vanity Fair and The Old Curiosity shop were all right, but most channels had regurgitated pap or the 100 best/worst news/film/song/whatever.

It reminded me of and old children's summer TV show called "Why don/'t you switch off the TV and do something more interesting instead". I always wondered about the title because if they got the message across they would not have any viewers therefore their sucess would be a failure ( a prardox).

Our TV has been reruns and "reality shows" for weeks, because of the writers' strike. I have seen the pilot for "The Big Bang Theory" three times this season.
