Wirral to go bag free in the New Year

Our local council has decided to try to stem the tide of the carrier bag
Personally I do try to use as few of the things as possible.

I have a pile of the "reusable" bags, they even live in my boot (the trunk to you yanks), the problem is, that's where they stay! I rarely remember to take them into the shop with me until I get to the check out and then it is too late to say "hang on for ten minutes while I go and get the bags out of the car!"
