I see Kevin Keegan has returned to Newcastle as Manager.
Cap in hand?
He seems to walk out of clubs at the drop of a hat, maybe his absense of three years is due to no one wanting to risk him?
I personally think he is far too emotional to lead a club, let alone a club he walked out on three years ago.
I think the NUFC will get everything they deserve.....
They won't give any manager time to sort the situation out up there, they want instant success and it doesn't work like that....
Keegan is a good motivator, but a shocking tactician, and as you say Dot, far too emotional....
He'll please the fans though, even more so when he brings Shearer onboard in some capacity.... (Shearer of NO experience, who they wanted for manager...!)
But IMHO the Geordies need to learn patience first and foremost, and give the manager time to sort things out, and accept that sometimes, they will lose games, it happends to every team....
*Mimics Keegan.... I'd love it, really love it if he took them down....
Arrogant fans, and the chairman/owner is a fool for bending to fans pressure.... I believe its something like 8 managers in 10/11 years...? Says it all really.
His problem, like 75% of us Scousers is, he wears his heart on his sleeve.
I hope he is wearing his armour ><
I told a friend I'd been watching The Messiah on tv and he asked, "Kevin Keegan?"
I kinda like the Geordie thinking. Maybe coz I'm ¼ Geordie.
They'd much rather lose 5-4 than win 1-0.
I think Keegan might just achieve that and, perhaps, win a few, too.
Another thing to consider, is, that many managers leave because of reasons that the general public never get to hear about.
They can say that they wanted to leave because of reason "x" but it could be for reason "y" you see
Anyway, he's back Kevin Keegan. Who could forget that name in a hurry?
Almost as famous as Alan Shearer
Well, to the younger audience - that is
