I got -
Best Day of My Life by American Authors
A flurry of banjo chords, a whoop or two, and a bluegrass backbeat that just won't quit, The Best Day of My Life is the perfect song of immaculate optimism - part Chris Martin in full joywhoop, part Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah - for a day in which everything is clearly going your way. Although, it's worth noting that all the glee in the song appears as a kind of fever dream - "just don't wake me now" - so enjoy the cherry on the icing on top of a pretty damned fantastic cake while it lasts.
But then, I am on holiday!
Same as yours, MM.
Are you my long-lost twin sister?
And here. Didn't listen but sounds the same concept as Brian Adams these are the best days of your life - Summer of 69
Happy by Pharrell Williams
I haven't listened to it so I don't even know if I know it.....
Is it anything like
"Don't worry, be happy"?
How have you got away with that? It haunts us over here.
One of my media pupils did their own version of the Happy video for their exam piece. It included things like my boss dancing with the janitor. I wish I had been allowed to hold on to it because it was "of its time" and captured a happy year to look back on.
It's easy, John, I only listen to the radio infrequently, and, then, it's usually Radio National (Australia's News channel run by the ABC) Don't watch much TV, so wouldn't know it if I fell over it.
