Have a gander at this part of your registry (The numbered part might be different).

No idea how to use that information.

LSemmens - 8-2-2018 at 23:23

And?

It's just a blank registry key. What am I looking for?

Katzy - 9-2-2018 at 10:52

Really? Mine had info on almost every website I'd ever visited! (Consciously, or not).

Quaver - 9-2-2018 at 11:27

Mine's blank too, and I keep all my historyconfused2
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place.

LSemmens - 10-2-2018 at 00:17

Interesting, I just had another look with this, and other, pages open, and it is still a blank key.

It may have something to do with your internet settings. i.e. clear history, don;t remember websites etc.

Katzy - 10-2-2018 at 09:54

Yeah, mine, I thought, was fairly locked down. Some of the sites I don't remember ever visiting, too.

Weird.

Is this using regedit?

Katzy - 10-2-2018 at 19:27

That and/or the O&O version.

Let us know what you find, Katzy, I'm curious as to what might be causing it.

Katzy - 11-2-2018 at 17:22

Well...

I deleted everything. under that key, when I first posted.

It's still empty.

From what I can gather, that part of the registry is for trusted sites. So, I suspect it's a purely IE thing. As I never use that, I can only assume that they've been there for yonks and I've never noticed, before.

I wondered about that, though I have used Edge on occasion and it hasn't left anything behind. Might be just left overs from last century.
