Talking of lies
marymary100 - 17-10-2012 at 20:24

There's a lie being spread that in the State of Ohio Obama was trying to stop the military and their wives voting early.

The Supreme court assured that all voters in Ohio arguably the most crucial of the swing states in the Nov. 6 election can cast ballots at polling places right up until Election Day.

The Democrats were trying to stop it being only the military and their wives having that privilege.

Now why are the GOP so keen to only allow the military to have extra voting days, I wonder?

People living on military posts have, historically, had some trouble getting their votes to count. They are away from their home states, and they must follow the military schedule. Many people in the service have complained that they had difficulty getting a ballot on time, and getting it back to the states early enough for it to count.

Republicans have been stronger than Democrats in pushing for people in the service to get help in this respect.

The GOP know that they do well out of military votes scholar, no wonder they are pushing to help them but not others.

Having added some Americans on social network sites I've realised that the truth is a rare commodity when it comes to election campaigns.

BALDERDASH, sir!

And while I'm on the subject, note what Ronald Reagan's SON had to say about Mitt just yesterday.

Apparently, according to the Mormon faith, it is acceptable "to lie for Jesus."

Wonder how many deceased Mormons were in for a shock upon reaching the Pearly Gates to find out their Prophets had LIED to them, too?

Your "sig" is taking up an awful lot of room these days Red, more than the size of your posts in fact. shocked_yellow

Leigh will need to use a dead persons identity in order to vote. teacher_mode

In fact if he uses several dead peoples identities he can vote as many times as he likes, apparently.

marymary100 - 3-11-2012 at 13:31

I wonder if I am still entitled to vote? I'm still showing up on internet searches at my old address.

Redwolf5150 - 3-11-2012 at 15:27

Had a Romney supporter come on MY Facebook wall and try to say that Sandy was NOT a hurricane!

Being it was on Facebook, on my OWN Wall, I let him have it. So did Jackie.

He tried to backpedal in the face of FACTS (90 mph winds = hurricane) and a few of my friends then joined in.

So Eorl, be grateful you don't pop up on my Facebook wall and try spreading your Malarkey.

You'd be a charcoal chunk in SECONDS if you did.

:D
