US files suit against Iran-linked properties.

The U.S. has filed suit to seize properties, including mosques, belonging to groups with alleged ties to Iran.
Do you think Iran is next for an Iraq-type "liberation"?

It rather depends on the size of their oil reserves.

Oh please, lets hope not.

No, certainly not.
"has filed suit" --that sounds like something our lawyer President, married to a lawyer wife, with a lawyer chief-of-staff and a lawyer chief
advisor would do.
Of course, the Iranian leaders, with their weapons-grade plutonium centrifuges and their missiles are just shaking in their boots. If there is one
thing the country that took the U.S. hostages fears, it's legal paperwork. They might be <gasp> out-lawyered.
Of course, Israel won't much enjoy the lawsuit victory if they are in radiative ruins because the Iranian President wants the end-conflict imam to
come out of the well.

For U.S. law enforcement authorities to seize a house of worship immediately raises questions about the constitutional right to freedom of
It will be interesting to see how this pans out once it eventually gets to court.

Why the hell is almost everything you post a dig at Obama?
I'm sure that I'm not alone in feeling this is all very tedious.
I'd suggest you find something better to do with your time, such as finding yourself a job, for instance!

I do many posts that do not mention Obama. Examples include most Late Night Club posts, religious topic
posts, and jokes. I am also happy to acknowledge when Obama does well, such as when he approved shooting the pirates, or when he sent President
Clinton to appeal to get the female prisoners back from North Korea, or the plan to regulate financial businesses and supervise them more closely
(which the Democrats were unwilling to do before the financial collapse. But, at least they've learned from the mistake).
I wish he did more things helpful to the country, and fewer things that are harmful. In some cases, the harmful things happen when some of his fellow
Democrats in the legislature do not live up to the ideals on which Obama campaigned. George Bush had the same problem, when Republicans spent money
without restraint, and when they spent it on pet projects that were not worth pursuing.

I understand some mosques have been financially connected to terrorism. However, innocent people may well
have contributed to the treasury, not realizing that some of the money was used for evil purposes.

Some people in the US set up "religions" in the US to avoid paying taxes, don't they?
My understanding of this group is that the rents from their skyscraper fund the mosques and the "schools" rather than the mosques funding other
things but of course I haven't been looking at American sites so don't know how the story is playing out your side of the pond or what bias is
