and waits and waits
That is absurd! Abstinence saves the special intimacy of sex for its proper place, marriage. That is the Biblical position.
This couple has no position, apparently.
I suspect they are hiding other issues and calling it religion.
They are making statements instead of making love. I wonder what the going rate is for newspaper stories in america - not that I am cynical or anything - but would you want to broadcast what does or does not happen in your bedroom?
I'm with you there, Nim. There is nothing in my Bible about abstinence after marriage except for certain ceremonies, and then you must fulfil your
"marital duties" lest you fall into sin.
I understand their commitment, though, and, provided it is not a burden on either party, then maybe they are doing something right. Me, I'm not so sure about that.
Absence makes the heart grow stronger she says.
As you'd expect, it's rubbish.
I'm glad it's rubbish. I did look it up on Snopes but there was nothing yesterday before I posted.
