From what Scholar tells us about the place I think Hell may well be America !

John_Little - 27-3-2014 at 08:41

I think Jean Paul got it about right. But its also in the mind of the beholder.

I'm not so sure about where hell is, but Heaven is Australia! nananana

Do you mean I have to die to go there ?

LSemmens - 28-3-2014 at 00:15

If you must...The rest just arrive by boat.

Do they have crocodiles and poisonous spiders and snakes in heaven?

And cold lager beer?

Only if they have lived exemplary lives.

But of course.

Does it exist after death - I don't think so, maybe nearest thing to it would have been something Majdanek or Auschwitz concentration camps in this life, so basically I assume Hell is mans inhumanity to man,jmb

Sadly, John, the only way to find out for sure is to die.

The Bible describes hell as a place where your memories never die, sorta like a wife. That may well be a good thing for some of us, but I suspect that, most of us would rather forget parts of our lives. It also mentions fire and brimstone, but that would be tame compared to being reminded of all of your mistakes, day in, day out.

OH, in that case I have already been there - growing up with my mother!

LSemmens - 30-3-2014 at 00:07

:) That's what most mothers are for! I must admit, though, that my mother did encourage me to "have a go".
