From their only North American appearance this summer and their FIRST EVER at an outdoor festival at Rock USA in Oshkosh, Wisconsin July 20, 2013.
He showed up sober and blew everyone's MINDS with his guitar.
David Lee Roth? His voice is gone.
But Eddie was on FIRE last night.

From left to right: Alex Van Halen, drums; David Lee Roth, vocals; Wolfgang Van Halen, bass; Edward Van Halen, guitar.
Best part about this show?
Jackie, her daughter Allie and myself got in for just $30!
I scored two free four-day admission tickets from a radio station and they came with two more tickets that were only $30 at the gate.
Weather was horrendous the first three days of the festival with dangerous heat and heat indexes. But for Saturday it was cool and no humidity.
Seems like you all had fun.
The two acts before Van Halen we saw really disappointed us. We've seen Jackyl many, many times (I DO have a signed shot of Jessie James Dupree chain
sawing up a bar stool during "The Lumberjack" I took hanging on my home office wall.) Jessie must have been drunk Saturday because he was WAY off
I didn't expect anything from what passes for Ratt these days and that's about what they delivered.
So up until Van Halen we were NOT having as great a time as we should have.
