This photo illustration of mine that I did today will appear on the page with the area Holy Week church services.

EDIT: I will SUGGEST this text to appear underneath it:
"This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.'
And my Muse, Jackie, helped me tremendously on the creation of this image.
Thank you honey!
That is very powerful, Redwolf. Well done to you - and your muse - on having it published.
Well done that woman/man.
I would that all papers would present such an image on Good Friday.
Thank all of you.
Jackie was instrumental in keeping me from going dark with the image.
She also hated the original cross image I used (the wind was blowing when I took it, she picked an alternate to the one I liked)
She also didn't like the sunset version I picked (Bracketed the image to make sure I got a good one in the 1 minute I had to get it recorded). Her daughter spotted it out our window and I quickly drove 1 mile to a park with a clear view of the western horizon.
She also pushed me to use a few Photoshop tricks I didn't think of using.
So it was a team effort.
It's running as THE back page of the paper in full color with the listing of services wrapped at the bottom of the cross and in three columns on the
right hand side in white type.
I'll post the link to the ebook version of our paper Wednesday when it goes live so you can see it. The PDF version will look awesome online.
Crossing my fingers it doesn't get ruined when printed on newsprint.
(I had a black and white version of it in case I couldn't snag a color page. It looks "okay" in greyscale but much better in four-color)
Excellent news Jamie, and congratulations to you all on a job well done.
As published in today's
We had an 8x12 photographic print made this morning, too. Can't wait to see it even BIGGER (Which we plan to have made and present to our church).
Congrats Wolfie a job well done
I am very impressed. Would that our local media be as "public" in their support of this season.
