When reading Today's Posts The unread indicators are there but as soon as I reply to a post they all disappear, any reason why?

I hadn't even noticed them before ,
they're a bit on the subtle side but working for me .

That's what I asked. :D

They are the little dot in the middle of the first column, on all unread posts.

You must have read them all then.

Except for this one.

I remember bridgetjns. She was an American wife, and a Christian. I recall that, at least for a time, she used a picture of a baby as her avatar.:)

I liked her, and have missed her since she stopped posting.

Now that you mention it, I remember her too. waveysmiley

I find the "read" markers tend to be more reliable when I first come to the Today page, but then they become less reliable after I have read some and come back to the Today page anew. To avoid this, I hit the back button in my browser, to get to the intact Today page that had the better list. :D

LSemmens - 14-10-2009 at 12:46

I just load today's posts, and start at the top and open a new tab for each thread until I get to the first thread that has me as the last poster. Then, as I've read a thread I close it. Once I've been through the entire list, I'm back at the today's posts list again as it was before I started. I then re-load that page and go through the replied made whilst I was reading through the list first time. By the time I've done all that, I am well and truly up to date and can then do other things. It normally only takes me an hour or so.
