Parent check-in
liz - 6-7-2011 at 19:42

I haven't been here in ages.

I'd like to know how many parents there are here. Let's have a roll call!

I have one child (8 yrs old.) I'm a work-at-home mom (my son has special needs.) I'll be homeschooling this school year (unless, by some 'miracle' the school district pays to send my son out of district to a more appropriate school.)

Ok, your turn.

My son and daughters are grown.

Since I got married on June 25, I now have 21 grandchildren on my wife's side of the family. I think I could get some kids to play with just about any time I want.

Then, I can give them back. :D

Is there no one else here with young kids? I find that odd for a discussion board.

My daughter is sitting next to me at the moment, her baby is in bed. I have three sons, some of whom are daddies, one of them is a grandfather. (He was a grandpa at 23 - Work that one out?) As he is our youngest that means that we have no young children at home. We actually have 4 children (adults), 5 grandchildren (1 adult) and 2 great-grandchildren.

To be fair Liz, we all have children Ok maybe some are older and perhaps some don't belong to us but there is a font of knowledge to be tapped here :)
