A night away from the baby
scholar - 28-11-2010 at 05:40

A young lady I know has a three-month-old baby girl. She accompanied her husband to his school reunion, but they weren't enjoying it, so they left at 9:30. Little mother had left the baby overnight with the baby's Grandma, and was expecting a peaceful night. But then, she didn't get to sleep until 3:00 a.m., because she missed the baby so much!:D:P:P

I cant remember the first time we left our baby with parents. But it was the same with us. Theresa worried about him the whole time.

Why did she have the child sat?

Our children accompanied us everywhere! On the night of our first wedding anniversary our eldest (who was only a couple of months old) slept in his carrier whilst we enjoyed a candle lit dinner at one of Darwin's up market restaurants.Whilst on holiday we took all four of our tribe, at the time our eldest was just 5 and the youngest was a few months old, to a silver service restaurant in Sydney. They all grew up learning to appreciate the finer things in life and never gave us cause for embarrassment. We were often complimented. Even at the aforementioned restaurant the maitre'd, who had initially had concerns, complimented us and said words to the effect, "I'd not have believed it if I hadn't seen it" as we paid our bill.

Tell her to take the child with her in future, and teach it how to behave in public!

I did not see the invitation to the school reunion, but it is possible that it was designated for adults only.

It might be a good idea to ascertain the full facts before commenting, don't you think ?
