Repopulating the aquarium

Sadly, most of our fish died when the aquarium was moved from one house to another.

I bought two female guppies, one male guppy, and two ghost shrimp.

Ruby is delighted! She likes the tiny paddling motions the shrimp make. And, one of the females gave birth to 8 babies within a few days. So far, all have lived.

Do you keep your pregnant fish segregated , so as to stop the fry from being eaten by the larger fish :)

No, I do not. But I do have patches of fry grass, in which the little ones can hide. And I do not have any aggressive fish (no angel fish, no chiclids, not even male swordtails)
