Tesco admits some of their beefburgers had up to 29% horsemeat in them...
Thank goodness I make my own !
Thank goodness I never buy their meat.
Someone just pointed out though that it would be good as part of a stable diet...
What is wrong with horsemeat, anyway? Is it just, that it was named as if from cattle?
Horsemeat is used a lot on the continent
Why should horse meat not be eaten, or cats and dogs for that fact? Just because the animal can be a pet does not make the meat any less healthy for
human consumption. We eat cow and sheep fairly regularly, along with a few other "acceptable" animals. Occasionally a cow or a sheep can be a family
pet, does it make them any less edible?
FWIW I love animals.
They taste great!
A Tesco burger walks into a bar. That bartender says, "Why the long face?"
There was an old woman who swallowed a horse, she'd been to Tesco, of course.
I had one of those. I thought it was Champion, but then I got the bit between my teeth. Still, a spoonful of Shergar took away the bad taste.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and nobody can talk to a horse, of course, that is unless the horse, of course is the (everybody now) famous Mr. Ed!
