or is a weather man about to get sacked when people look at the Friday and Saturday warnings...

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/#?tab=map&map=Warnings&zoom=5&lon=-4.50&lat=55.74&fc Time=1355400000

assuming it is kept online long enough for people to spot it.

So, the "beast from the east" changed his mind and will give way to the "pest from the west" - rain, wind and milder temperatures from the end of the week.

Just like our "barbecue" summer, then. The Met Office really is becoming a drama queen, and a laughing stock, to boot.

Having looked at the maps again, it seems I missed the good doctor's point by a country mile!

I don't suppose any of the weather girls on tv that night referred to expecting 8" from the "beast from the east"? ;-)

I thought that was your particular euphemism.

Are you incinerating that the weather is male??;)

marymary100 - 13-12-2012 at 07:00

All blow and bluster...what else could it be? ;)
