Face

I hope it all goes well for him. The "before" photo reminds me of a popular image of one of those "good ole boys" from outback Virginia. A hillbilly if ever there was one. The new face is certainly an improvement and I hope it has the effect on his self image that he is hoping.

Whenever I read one of these type stories I'm always amazed at the resilience some people have.

I'm not sure I'd have been able to cope for 15 years with such a facial disfigurement.
Good luck to him ... he's a brave fella. I hope he finds life more worthwhile and enjoyable now.
It really makes you pause and think when you read he's started to shave and brush his teeth. Such little things, we all take for granted and moan about.

And if giron pops up and says anything about my removable teeth soaking overnight beside my bed , I shall smack his bum.

Good luck to the man. I hope he can soon learn to recognise himself, and accept his new face.

I wonder what it would be like to have someone else's tongue.

Not everyone has resilience. I'm glad he did.
