R.I.P. Margaret (Peggy) Taylor Lindsay, my dearest sister and partner in crime from our teenage years.
I am still stunned at the news of your sudden death. A massive heart attack is not the way I would have predicted "The Rock" of our family to go. They say as the oldest and only son, that title would have been mine, but as the rest of the family blew to the four corners of the world, you remained in the town we grew up in, holding a port in the storm for us.
God bless your wonderful son who has inherited the Taylor man trait of being able to hold it together and get done what needs to be done. It is a shame that it was he who had to frantically perform CPR on you while awaiting the paramedics. A bigger shame that it was your sweet 18-year old daughter who found you.
I am not looking forward to this weekend at all. I can think of any number of ways that I would have preferred for us all to assemble as a family again. Seeing you start your final journey is not even on the list.
Jamie mate, I don't have the words, and I'm useless in these situations, but I'm so sorry for your loss.
Take it easy.
A true loss (((Jamie))) Will be thinking of you.
It's never easy Jamie to lose someone close to you . All I can say is I feel your pain .
(((((Jamie and Family)))))
Going to be one of those times I DON'T want to hear bagpipes playing "Amazing Grace."
Jamie, words fail. No matter what I say it would not adequately convey my feelings nor comfort you. Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences. I pray that the next few days will bring some joy as you remember some of the happy times you have had.
Jamie, I am sorry to hear of your loss and feel for you at this time.
I'm so sorry (((Jamie)))
May Angels fly her safely home.
((((((((((((((((((((( Redwolf ))))))))))))))))))))))))))0
Really sorry to read this, hope the weekend goes OK (((Jamie)))
Sorry to hear that, Red.
So sorry to hear of your loss Redwolf, my thoughts are with you at this sad time..
So very sorry Redwolf
and sorry to be late with condolences too.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
I'll be thinking about you.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's a little after 9 a.m. here. We got back to the homestead at about 1:30 a.m. last night. Trying to reboot my brain over all that happened the
last four days.
My sister worked for 29 years for Vincennes University, rising through the custodial ranks to being in charge of all academic buildings.
So many of her co-workers, friends and university officials wanted to attend that as we were making the trip down, it was decided that her funeral service would be held at the chapel on campus. The president of the university even spoke.
Then I think my sister would have appreciated the piper at graveside who played Amazing Grace. That it followed a 21-gun salute and Taps from down the road from a military funeral made it all the more surreal.
Then the trip back yesterday was an experience in itself that I'll recount later. Needless to say, Jackie received some bad news delayed by a year that made the rest of the drive back from Chicago even longer.
Thanks to everyone here for their regards, they meant a lot.

Mr and Mrs Bear
Family time is always special time. A close family makes the absence of a loved one a little easier. You are still in our thoughts and prayers.
Still thinking of you x
You have my prayers, Jamie. I wish you every consolation.
I was stunned by the picture you posted in the other thread--in the picture, she looks exactly like someone I knew.
