That's ceroin as in wood, especially old railway sleepers.
We been building a retaining wall with the sleepers and everytime my brother in law Kill1 one in half I was right behind him sniffing the preservative and woody smells :)
Absolutely beautiful smell, similar to fresh tar on the roads.

What is your weakness?

I like tar and the smell of the underground which is odd - oh and a man with a pipe but not cigarettes or cigars. confused2

Cherry Blossom shoe polish, especially off the brush! And many a black nose-tip gave the game a way. :)

I love the smell of Jackie's gardens in the morning.

When my sister and bro-in-law visited last month they remarked how you couldn't go anywhere around the outside of the house without smelling flowers.

Jackie just beamed at that remark.

Sea air and freshly mown grass for me, both do it for me I'm afraid.
