CATS.

Cats sleep
Anywhere
Any table
Any chair
Top of piano
Window ledge
In the middle
On the edge
Open drawer
Empty shoe
Anybody's
Lap will do,
Fitted in a
Cardboard box
In the cupboard
With your frocks
Anywhere!
They don't care!
Cats sleep
Anywhere.

so true and past the witching hour now - I need to go to my bed so Jasper Jax, my Tabby, can sleep draped across my stomach:)

Yep, and I have six cats that do that to me too! They help keep me warm in this weather too! kewl_glasses

Yes it does seem to be rather perennial, my son had to recite it for an open day at Junior school, some 30 years ago.

Grinning...

I've just changed the linen on my bed - that's SUCH fun with a kitten helping! :)

A game of pokey paw is great fun when you're trying to get a long lie as well.

janet - 8-12-2007 at 11:50

Oh, she does that on a fairly regular basis throughout the night.

I figure a neighbour must have an alarm that goes off at about 7.30, cause that's one time it always happens.

But what's with the 3.30 am "I'm just going to check that you're still breathing by putting a paw on your mouth - oh, good, you're fine"?

LSemmens - 8-12-2007 at 13:11

I've not seen that one before, but it is very apt!

There are only two kitties here now - I used to have 6 but age has taken its toll
only one drapes across me
the other one stomps on me is a BIG boy

I'm unable to hoover atm because The Boss is fast alseep in the bathroom :D

scholar - 9-12-2007 at 18:41

The host of the number one radio show has told how his little cat, Pumpkin, tries to compel him to get up early to put out fresh food by butting his head. He won't do it, out of principal--he doesn't want to be compelled to follow the cat's will--but he can't go back to sleep so long as the little furball gets head-butting him. Result: since both are stubborn, neither gets what they want.:o

Not just feline either, we have a five year extremely playful Yorkshire terrier called "Poppy"

Poppy goes absolutely ballistic when my wife gets the Dyson out, strangely she cleaner never bothered her in the slightest until after she'd had her puppies when she started to protect thier box against intrusion. It gets so bad at times we have to lock her in the bath room until the carpets are done.waveysmiley
