I remember it well broke my wrist when I was 14 years old doing just that. Boy did we have fun when we were young. :D

My father was none to pleased It was the start of the six week school break.
Properly supervised its ok I have seen rope and pulley equipment used in modern play areas, but back in them days we did things for ourself and I do not think bailer string was up to using for hanging on to. ;)
