Charles, I think of you every time I do a plumbing repair.

I have seen the modern plumbing junctions, where a person need only push a correctly-cut copper pipe into the junction or elbow, and it grips it permanently. I could manage that.

A clerk at the plumbing store pointed out that a short piece of pipe was stuck into every visual example piece, because people would stick a full-length pipe into them to see how well they would grip. Of course, the pipe could not afterwards be removed, so the piece AND the pipe were now worthless.:P:P:P

Aww, Charles, I'd have thought that you, of all people, should have known the answer to that one. B*****y amateurs trying their own plumbing repairs would all soon be under water!nananana

I went on to coach Netball teams and run aerobics classes for children but all that stopped when I had my own child.
