That's a bit better, what a wonderful perfomance by Vettori and a nice innings from Oram, but not good enough with England's middle order doing what they're supposed to, especially the partnership between Collingwood and Shah. Mascarenhas had a poor time with the ball But no worse than Martin or Hitchcock.
Can we do it twice more?

The Kiwis are just a scratch team from outer Sydney, you did know that, didn't you?

Well we started off Ok but wen to sleep in the rain break and didn't wake up again. An easy pitch needed the batsmen to get themselves out and I think it's very clever of the English batsmen to find so many ways to get themselves out with only the handful of legitimate ways to choose from.
And our bowling showed a pitiful lack of cricket knowledge. I don't want to take it away from the Kiwi openers though, a tremendous display of how it should be done.

I'm guessing that you are referring to the sport of "cricket". Am I right?
I actually prefer watching grass grow, it's less tedious. Except when the Ozzies are playing.

Well that was a pretty pathetic batting display from England, who must have been hopeful after slaughtering the Kiwis in the Twenty20 competition.
Nice, consistent, accurate bowling from NZ meant that England had to get themselves out which they managed to do with a lack of aplomb and cricketing ability that makes me want to weep at times.
At least our bowlers didn't do too badly, although Anderson got knocked around a bit.

And before a certain Antipodean starts chucking his two pennorth in he ought to check the ODI record of Australia the last time they toured New Zealand. :D
