I loved his work - he the talent to make each book so different from the last. Jurassic Park and Disclosure, for example. completely different genres, but both wonderfully readable.

That is sad news, I read Andromeda Strain many years ago and went on to read and enjoy several of his other books.

My thoughts are with his wife and family
