EVERYTHING you "say", online, is available to anyone, if they know what they're doing.

Which is why the internet's never been banned. Governments love all that luvvly information being around.

Sure, they play lip-service, telling people to be safe and all that. But...

He has a valid point! Whilst my life is an open book, I, too am somewhat circumspect about that which I share on line. I always liken the internet to standing on one side of of the main shopping strip and having a private conversation to someone on the other side of the road. 90% of passers by will ignore you, 9.9% may stop and listen for a while. Of the remaining .1% most of them will probably listen to the whole thing, and, of them there is the possibility that 1% of those might do something that could come back and bite you.
