It's rather good. :) I read some good reviews from sites I trust, before I used it)

Make sure you have the option to install the "System care" program unchecked, though. Unless you want it, that is. (Doing some of the things it does, like cleaning the registry, COULD break things).

Karl is, sadly, unable to tell us how great Dreamweaver really is, so we'll have to guess, but, from my dealings here, I'd say that she is pretty fantastic! ;)

Hmm half the comparisons on that list are misleading at best, or downright inaccurate at best. Nothing wrong with most of the software itself but whoever compiled that list should actually use the software before trying to compare them.

Whilst we're on free stuff, has anyone any experience with The Ultimate Troubleshooter? I've just found it on a lappy that I'm re-furbishing for someone and, on the surface, it looks to be useful.

The good news is that there's no mention of Obama there, but what's it got to do with free software?

To be honest, it looks more like a blatant advertisement to me, but I'm no expert.

It might be as well to read the comments at the bottom.
Plus it doesn't mention Irvanview.

It might be a good idea to lock the thread to prevent unscrupulous people posting off topic comments.

Naturally I'd never do such a thing myself, but certain others would, I'll mention no names ;), but you know as well as I do that a disturbingly large number of threads do end up becoming a political smear campaign against Obama. :)

Ok thanks guys. I haven't used any of the suggested programmes myself but it is good to know that the ones you have used have worked as well as the article suggests they will.

I have stickied this thread so that people can find it easily.
