Do you ever listen to British political journalists interviewing style? I think it's all gone silly and unproductive and has developed into a cat and mouse game.

Two of my students are off to uni after the summer to become journalists. I expect great things.

And, before anyone asks, my editors would NEVER, EVER send me to cover anything involving Trump.

They know I couldn't resist poking that bear hard.

And, I get bonus points for having the Governor interrupt a question of mine before I could finish asking it.

Nothing like making the powerful uncomfortable to make your day.

Just realized I had a very political work week.

Covered/Interviewed:
The Lt. Governor
The Governor
A State Supreme Court candidate
A U.S. Senator

As much as I grouse about politics, I love that a perk of my job is I get a ringside seat to watch it up close and write about it from a position of knowledge.
