In Tuesday's Primary election (in which each party chooses its candidates), the two leading candidates of the Republicans for Governor of Illinois are practically tied.

Right now, the leader is ahead by five ten-thousandths of one per cent.shocked_yellow

The leader may change, depending upon absentee ballots, or even provisional (challenged) ballots.

Whomever wins has a good chance at becoming Governor in the general election, because the last elected governor, a Democrat, is under arrest. The Democrat Governor who is filling out his term wants to increase income taxes by 50%.shocked_yellow

Of course, all voters like to hear a candidate wants to increase their taxes. The government spends money so much more wisely than if we are allowed to keep what we earn, and spend it ourselves.. rollarf rollarf rollarf
